Enhance the safety of your home or business with leased outdoor lighting. DES offers 3 dusk-to-dawn LED fixtures installed on existing or added DES service poles.

Cost

Please contact DES for current rates.
Light and pole rental charges are added to your monthly electric bill
The monthly rates change by a few cents as TVA adjusts our electric rates each month
Some new installations may be subject to construction fees to be paid before installation

Process

Residential property owner or business owner must:
Sign a 2-year Application-Contract
Pay a $25 non-refundable application fee
When the contract term expires, outdoor lights continue billing on a month-to-month basis until the customer requests light be turned off or removed.
After receiving the completed Application-Contract and $25 application fee:

DES will schedule a meeting at the property with you or your agent to determine the most effective location(s) and light model(s) to be installed

Outdoor light installations are typically completed within 1 to 4 weeks
