At Heartwood Fiber, we believe that the agreements you make with your internet provider should be as clear and straightforward as your monthly bill. We have stripped away the dense legal jargon to ensure our terms of service are easy to understand, reflecting our commitment to being a fair and honest neighbor in the communities we serve.

No Contracts and No Hidden Fees

We do not lock our customers into restrictive, long-term contracts. Your internet service operates on a simple month-to-month basis, or an optional annual schedule for a discounted rate. You are free to cancel your service at any time without facing early termination penalties, surprise renewal rate hikes, or hidden administrative fees. The price you agree to at sign-up is exactly what you will see on your invoice.

Unlimited Data and Open Internet

Every plan we offer comes with absolutely no data caps and no throttling. Whether you are streaming 4K video, hosting servers, or running a heavy-demand business, every byte of data costs the exact same amount. We are committed to upholding open internet principles, meaning we will never artificially slow down your connection, prioritize specific traffic, or penalize you for fully utilizing your symmetrical fiber speeds.

Equipment Usage and Returns

To ensure you get the most out of your gigabit connection, we include high-quality equipment like our WiFi 6 routers or Mesh WiFi 6E nodes with your plan at no extra monthly rental cost. While this hardware remains the property of Heartwood Fiber, it is yours to use for the duration of your service. If you ever decide to cancel your plan, we simply ask that you return the provided equipment to avoid any unreturned hardware replacement fees.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is a fundamental right, not a commodity. We strictly monitor our network for performance and security to maintain our 99.98% uptime, but we never track, mine, or sell your personal browsing history to third-party advertisers. Your digital life remains completely your own on our secure, locally monitored fiber lines.
